Women and Children in Africa (WACIA) is a registered charity committed to the relief of poverty in Africa.
We work in partnership with individuals and communities to enable them to improve their lives. Particular focus is given to small, achievable projects that can become self-sustaining within a period of 5 years.
In particular, we seek to help people and communities likely to be overlooked by larger charitable organizations, either because of the size of their need or their location. These projects are making a real difference to women and children disadvantaged by poverty.
The founders of WACIA have a deeply personal interest in Africa. Our in country project managers work with trusted partners and community leaders to identify where we can best improve the quality of life and relieve poverty.
We encourage anyone interested in our work to contact us using the 'Contact' page.
