Women and Children in Africa (WACIA) is a registered charity committed to the relief of poverty in Africa. In particular, our charity is working to
alleviate the hardship and distress of women and children affected by the war in Uganda.
We work in partnership with individuals and communities to enable them to improve their lives. Particular focus is given to small, achievable projects
that can become self-sustaining within a period of 2 to 5 years. These projects are making a real difference to women and children disadvantaged by
poverty in Africa.
The founders of Women and Children in Africa have a deeply personal interest in Africa. Our programme managers work with trusted partners and community
leaders to identify where we can best improve the quality of life and relieve poverty in Africa.
We encourage anyone interested in our work, whether a general query, volunteering, fundraising, making a donation or raising awareness, to contact us using the '
